Research - Newtown

02.08.16

To find out the attitudes and opinions of cafeterias I visited some locations in Newtown and spoke with several workers about our reusable cup concept.

All of the people I spoke to were really receptive and it was an idea that they had all been considering. A few of the workers were really passionate about the problem of takeaway cup waste in Wellington and asked me to come back and update them as the project progressed - I was also given a free coffee, loyalty cards with stamps on them and a lot of advice and about the idea. Overall it boosted my confidence in the project and showed me that our idea is something that people (specifically people in the coffee industry) would really engage with.
